will another size engine fit in my 67 need to get mine rebuilt and should I get the tranny rebuilt it works fine top speed is 72

yes any size !! u dont say how many miles on the tranny & what type?????????? Likely wont hurt to do some seals-at least!!

The rear end ratio determines how fast you go,,,,,,,,one with a 10 bolt cover is the fastest,,,,,,a 12 bolt goes slower......why do you want to change or rebuild the engine,,,,,,to go faster? or does it knock, smoke, leak or overheat?

no I just thought it has a lot of miles an it would be good to rebuild it it does take time to warm up
