I have 170 engine and c-4 that have been refreshed not completely rebuilt. They came this way with a van I bought, and I am not going to use them. The engine was torn down and inspected. honed with new bearings and rings, had head work done, new cam and lifters, new head bolts.....the trans was torn down and inspected and had new clutches installed.  $800
message me for more information/pictures Thanks I will try to attach some pics but I didn't have good luck last time....you can text or call me at 530 nine four five 8062.

which bearings? "what head work"? do U have the cam card? etc.
Particulars would be essential, esp yr of C4. All I can do is say "No".

I told you what I know…. The engine was part of a van I bought for parts. 64 econoline. I would assume crank, cam, rod bearings. And I can probably grab the number off the back of the cam tonight and post it.
    Thanks

any detail assists beyond the passing interest.

Seeing detail (for me anyway) often answers the personal
Q of "is it worth me contacting the guy, putting in any energy?"
Blocks and heads change, the castings offer info. "Do I want that
motor/cam for x?" (no it's more a st motor I need an 'RV' cam for off rd, etc.
Otherwise it is more of an unknown (offers U get will B lower too) cept from 'gamblers'.

    OK,
too late. Now that I'm into it yes, please:

is there a "T" on the engine pad (ie indicating 2.8L)?
    How many water pump bolts?
    It's been rebuilt? to which (Level I - V)?
    How? What is CR?
    What prts new? What make,
    "head work" what's that? ie
    springs, valves, ported?
    Head, block casting numbers
    pistons, con rods
    cam spec
    Which bearings were replaced
    - -
    What yr is the C4
    valve body? shift kit
any linkage, tv cable, kick down?
newer bands or other rebuild parts
    #input/output splines?
    pan or case fill

    Thnx.

Regards to the C4,,,,,,,,,it can ONLY BE from a 65 to a 67 per the tailstock and will NOT bolt into a 61 to 64,,, tailstocks interchangeable with any C4 (IE: Big bell pan fill or Sml bell case fill),,,, important info is that tailstock is very difficult to find anymore,,, FYI,,
