So I'm just about done welding new panels from front to back on my drivers side and I'm toying with the idea of adding a flip-up gas cap. I hated having a loose (unattached) cap on my last van and thought it would be cool to bolt in a flip up. Anyone done this before? Thoughts?
I was considering using either a marine style cap off eBay or even using a mustang cap from the early 70s that flipped up. Just gotta take measurements.

I always thought it would be cool to have the tail light flip up revealing the gas filler.
