My '64 Chevy HARD at work bringing home my first Econoline PU, also a 64.
I worked that poor Chevy hard for about 6 years, daily. Time to give it a taste of the easy life.

The Econoline is a 1965 or 1966. 1967 would have standard backup lights.

I'm sorry, I didn't state my question correctly. I should have said that I believe this picture was taken in the early 70's.

I was probably still working on my first cup of coffee when I posted the original.

That's what I figured you meant. Funny how Lowe's has changed their store fronts since then...looks like a reclaimed warehouse in the picture. lol

Just got an old Ford Magazine off eBay called "Clues To Successful Truck Operation" Winter 1966 and there were a couple of interesting Econoline pictures in it.

Bernie Hoffmann was apparently a real person providing animals for filming TV.

In the 60's vans were in the maintenance department of most Railroads. Many were  equipped as Hi-Rail equipment. (Vehicles with retractable rail wheels)

Cool Railroad worker pictures, thanks for posting! Not sure if these vans were equipped to inspect the rails ultrasonically, but I've seen later vans set up to drive the tracks looking for cracks!

Reminds me of a recent doctor's visit: I told the doctor I had a dream two nights in a row. The first night I dreamt I was a teepee and the next night I dreamt I was a wigwam. The doctor said I know what you're problem is...He said "You're too tense!!!"

Sorry, I couldn't resist! lol! Razz
