Thank Dix,
The front windshield will still be split but will swing out like VW bus safari windows.
Hinges from the rear window of a Ford SUV.

Seems like the chopped van is kinda rare these days.

the front windshild sounds like a nice touch, will you be welding in a center post ??
If so maybe use the same design used in the center of the front grill ,
wide at the bottom and top thinner in the middle of the post. that should look real bad-ass

Great looking van! Looking forward to seeing more of the progress. I was never thinking of doing anything drastic to my project but you've got me wondering...
