Throttle linkage ? Empty Throttle linkage ?

Putting a 5 liter /302 into a 65 Epup. What are folks doing for throttle linkage and gas pedal
setups? What seems to work well for you ? (5.0, Edelbrock carb, C4 green dot trans)
Most 'kit' solutions (Lokar) have short cables, and big dollars.

I don't have the same set up as you, but I do have a lokar floor shifter. When I needed to replace the throttle cable I used a Bicycle cable from a tandem bicycle. It's stainless steel and worked good.

The stock pedal, linkage, and cable for the 1965-1967 Econolines with a 240 engine work well and bolt right in. Vic usually has a few in stock.

I used a CSR 6' cable set up from Summit.
I ran it from my existing 1965 throttle floor bracket assembly up behind the
engine and attached it to a bracket that I fabricated that bolts to the intake manifold..
kinda like an early mustang style.

The cost was up there but under $70....I should have had Vic make me one.
Would have saved a lot of time.
But sometimes you want to do it yourself.
