I didn't see any gasket material on the seam. I guess it was long gone.

After sitting for a bit, the old gal came back into the shop for her face-lift. The left inner panel is straightened out. The skin is ready to go on.

That's Eastwood black self-etch primer on the nose and dash.

I went with Eastwood's high build polyester primer.

I had an agreement with the bodyman that he would work on the van as I payed him in increments throughout the winter. To get things moving along I took out a loan and gave the bodyman a big wad of cash to get things moving along a little quicker. Sticking a lot of money into the old gal to get her back on the road and I realize that I probably won't get everything out of her that I stick in (if I ever sold her) but the purpose was to save her from the jaws of the recycler and give her a new life. Plus she's a sweet little van with a strong heart.

Glass company cut a new windshield for her and that will be installed around the middle of April. Should have more pictures by then.

LOL!!!!! Actually the cats belong to the bodyshop. They took a liking to my van right away and turned it into a "cat-house". That's a good name for the old gal Vanny!!! I think i'll call her the Cat House.

Or you could go the Rock N Roll way and call it Cat Scratch Fever!!! Oops...I think I just dated myself!
