I just picked up a 62 E van. I am so happy!! I found 4 crager SS 15x8 rims at the local swap meet that are 5x4.5. What size tires do I need for the front and back that will look awesome???

Re: tire size??
Congrats on getting your '62. Can't waite to see some pics. As for the cragars, you may want to try them on without rubber to see how they sit front and back to make sure they center in the wheel wells properly. Not sure what the offsets are on your mags, or if they have any offset at all. Just a thought is all. Others on here that have gone through this will chime in and give you some better answers.

Re: tire size??
That's good advise. Put it on stands with the weight on the suspension and check it out

Re: tire size??
Really depends on what look your after, On that size rim, either a 205/215/225 x 60/65/70 x 15 will all probably work, but as was stated, sometimes depending on the offset, the rear tires may wanna rub the fenders.
Just an FYI
the first number 205 =205 mm wide
the second number 60= 60% of the width is the height from the wheel to the tread or a sidewall height of 129mm, by comparison a 205/70/15 would still be 205mm wide but would be 143 mm tall so each time you change the tread width, you have options on sidewall height.
A common misconception is that a 50 or 60 series is wider is not necessarilly true.. ie a 215 whatever is still only 215 mm wide no matter if it is a 60,65,or 70 series... the lower sidewall height may give the impression of a "wider" tire ,but it is not...
You can use these numbers to play with how tall the tire will be and wether or not it will rub your fenders.
Keep in mind big variations will affect power and speedometer accuracy.
