On my 1967 A100 VAN, I'm replacing the 225/75/15 tires that were put on the original rims years ago, and I noticed that there is a little ruB mark inside the front wheelwell. I'm thinking that these tires are a bit big, what do you suggest to replace these tires on original rims, 215s? (the manual says the original tires were 775/15s) I hope I get this done before the snow flies, thanks.

Re: new tire size for 775-15
I put some 215 75 15 on my '68 and they only rub if I hi speed corner or crank it hard backing up. According to the chart a
7.75 - 15= 205 75 15
here is a conversion chart....
