Re: Dons day,,,,,,,
Man, that's a little TOO Close for comfort!!! Maybe the concrete pads will create a no burn zone to help protect the homestead...I was out there during one of those wildfires and had to change hotels because the fires were getting really close. I guess that's part of the Paradise tax you guys pay out there on the left coast.

Re: Dons day,,,,,,,
The fires are responsible for the changes,,,,,I had to evacuate with only my motorhome in the 2003 fire,,,,,,,I thought I would never see my house and van again,,,,,so when I got back, the Chevy Van says how could you leave me here to burn?????? So I had to make it up to him,,,,,then in 2007 the fires come again,,,,,mandatory evacuation,,,,,fire burns down the water station,,,,no water,,,,,I aint going anywhere,,,,,I live off the water in the hot water tank,,,,,that tree is dying from the last fire, so each day I go up it and cut down branches,,,,then after I got the stump out,,,,,,I might as well put some concrete there, so thats how it began......

I was hoping you had to fight off some babe that needed the drag link more than you, and you won. You win either way:)

Mark brought over his Arizona Special for me to check out,,,,,,I pulled the wheels,,,,rear drums and shoes are 11"x2",,,,,,,should be 9 1/2"x2",,,,,that rear end was set up for coil springs,,,,so it is off something else,,,,left front wheel bearing is going bad,,,,,shoes have grooves in them,,,,they are 2" wide,,,,2 1/2" shoes go up there,,,,,someone put the rear shoes up front so brakes are way out of wack,,,,,
