Congrats! That looks really nice. Great start. Glove box is not a problem. You should be able to find a glove box door pretty easy. You can list that your looking for one on here. You can buy the glove box liner from Mac's online. Score!!!

He came down about 1K but it wasn't easy. I really like this van as it is just what I was looking for and it's in pretty good original shape.

It's paid for now and the shipping is arranged. Should have it this weekend!

Wow...finding parts for these vans is going to be as much a challenge as finding parts for my Gran Torino!

Obtw, in case any of you guys want to see a video of my "other" Ford...here's a link

    LOL
I'm pretty much done getting parts for the Torino, That's why I needed another project!

Yes I plan on doing a survey of the vehicle and see what all I need. I won't be working on it too much at first, at least not until I move back to Phoenix. But what I will be trying to track down is original mirrors, either the little ones or the "elephant ear" type...I don't know what they are called, and the glove box door with hinges and I assume it will need a dash mounted latch of some sort.

First purchase for the van just made, a Arizona 1963 License plate to put on it! It might be different in other states, but in AZ you can get an old plate the same year as your vehicle and after they check it, use it on your vehicle. Pretty Cool I think.

My Van is supposed to be delivered Monday by noon. Sucks it's a day late because I'm not going to have much time to mess with it.

So I was looking to see how many members live in Arizona/Phoenix area. Didn't see the option to group by location. Anyone know if there's a club or shows in the Phoenix area?
