January Blues

Thanks vanny.!!!. I am about 2 hours south of that sign....Its 36 right now with a 30 degree wind chill and has been raining all night and still raining now a little colder and we would have had a foot of snow last night OH WELL got to see some slush on my windshield this morning on the way to work there is always Feburary...I cant remember how long its been since it rained when it was this cold.... I dont know how I managed working in a tire shop all thoes years back in UP State NY....STAY WARM GUY'S.!!!....Thats a Bad A$$ Van dix...  ........

It was 70 last monday, snowed tuesday night, froze wednesday and thursday, and will be back up to 70 by sunday. Like they say, "if you don't like the weather, stick around for an hour."

I went out to check my propane tanks for the house, ouch!!!!!!!!! Usually burn about 30% this month, I have burned 50% I love when the propane truck comes!!!!! means I'm broke for the next two weeks!!!! winter sucks come on spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow last night & this AM,then freezing rain later,then rain,then back to snow,& colder again. More Indiana winter fun.

Don't know whats coming, some stations are saying 2-4, some 4-6, and one says 8-12???

Seems to me that Florida has now the same weather we have here in southern Finland now. Strange to see pics from FL that look like they are from our own streets during winter.

THATS THE WAY IT IS AROUND HERE TOO, ONE STATION SAYS ONE THING AND THE OTHER SAYS SOMETHING ELSE, ONE YEAR THEY CALLED FOR 2 TO 4 AND WE HAD A BLIZZARD WITH 10 TO 12 BEST THING IS JUST LOOK OUTSIDE, LOL

Around here the radio station gives the report handed to them by the national weather burrow. Then the announcer looks out the window while still on air and gives his personal opinion based on what he sees out over the western horizon. Sometimes he completely contradicts the report he just read. The local anchor is usually much more accurate and his opinion is what people around here have come to count on when making their plans.

Been raining since noon ,now most of the roads in town are flooded,
 
and alot of the storm drains are covered with froze snow.

We get a one day reprieve from the winter storms tomorrow. It's supposed to get up to the mid sixties, which is quite different from this past week when the high was half that. I plan to spend our spring-teaser day by driving from NC to DC and towing back a 1967 Econoline. We then go back to winter storms on Monday.

we got the same here in ohio 8 to 10 inches i wish spring would come, like tomorrow !!

Should change this post to Febuary Blues. If it not super cold it snows

Spokane , wa. - cold next 4 days = -2 this am & high of 10F today. We are 30 F below daily averages now. Snow pack in mountians very low = so id expect a drouth late summer!! U guys im mid-west & eastern areas are in for it soon again!!

This snow and cold temps is really getting old fast! I have put a little over 20 miles on my plow rig just doing the driveway. Should have pushed it a little farther back early on, I now have a narrow corridor to drive through.
