Did you check out the slideshow on your post,Dan?Your in for a treat!
What is it with people? The more as we progress, the more we hear "Hey ya'll,watch this". Haaaaa !
Thats cool if it came from Az..Less worries by far.I thought it looked pretty good shape.Makes those lower radius's and corners easier to deal with.A pressure washer and a "kid" can make a world of difference underneath.lol
Man,take care of that thumb, you'll probably be casted for a bit, huh?

Doc said 4 weeks in a hard cast, good thing I signed up for AFLAC this year. Hey maybe the "duck" can come help on the "camo van"???? "kid" = 12 year old that is hoping for an el camino when he is 16.
Dan... when I looked at the yellow wire it looks to have come off off the volage regulator mounted to the r/s doghouse wall. Man the wiring is terrible in here have to post a pic of it tomorrow. Anybody know if those gee whiz cd's on ebay have a good schematic on them??? Looks like I get to "build" a harness for all the accessories. Someone answer to a wire not having power was to run a new one straight to the battery.

There was a guy selling the color diagrams on Ebay for the A's, but one I didn't like was that the wire gauge wasn't included.

If it doesn't have the guage on it I guess I can figure that out from what is left of mine before I head off the the store for "rolls" of wire, and I can always write it down and post it.

Nice looking van, and yeah the top is different, I've got it narrowed down to being 1" wide canvas straps that hold mine shut. I like the bronco behind it also.

UPDATED 68 sportsman pop-up roof - Page 2 Empty Needs Missing park brake parts

    Post by 67a 100 pickup Sat Feb 28, 2009 4:58 pm

As you can see from the pic the parking brake arm from the cable to the shoe is missing, and the cross bar between the shoes is the wrong one and rubs on the axle and the studs. Sure glad I trailered this from TN, there are just some people out there that should not attempt to work on brakes Sad or at the very least don't take both sides apart at the same time in case they forget where something goes.

    UPDATED 68 sportsman pop-up roof - Page 2 Dsc_0036

Nate.... Help.... Very Happy Got any part numbers for these??? Napa didn't have a listing for them. Probably 2 sets gotta find another "block" from the firewood pile for the other side to check it tomorrow. (outta jack stands, every corner is waiting on some part or another, on both A's)
    thanks

Well..I know the hardware kits and self-adjuster kits are still available, but I don't think the bar or the parking brake cable arm are still available.

Brian Bowie will have some extras or find a donor vehicle. A-100's use basically the same brakes as the Mopar cars of the era.

Many hours of surfing and ended up at store automotive .com. I thought they were going to be the brake struts because there is no picture. So took a chance and ordered them and they fit our shoes great. Thanks for the picture, I changed my search to brake strut intsead of brake bar and might have a line on some... cheers drunken

If you're talking about the levers that move the adjuster starwheel, those come with the adjuster rebuild kits. Those are readily available.

Nope, this arm from the cable to the shoe that actually engages the brakes when the e-brake handle is pulled.
