Has anyone tried to make a five window P/U from a three window. Are the windows themselves hard to find.
    Thanks,

I remember about two years ago, some chatter here and there about doing it and the end of it????
Because of that though, have always kept it in the back of my head as perhaps something to sell.
I have a 67 five wndw that I am getting ready to FINISH cutting it up. It was a very clean bottom but needed a nose job.  I need a roof for my Spring Special and have been trying to figure out the best way to get the roof off without ruining the quarter window glass metal parts of the corners...whewmmmmmmm loosing myself in that one,, LOL  That way I could get both as I usually donate one side or the other.  I have at least a dozen sets of quarter glass that I have been picking up for a long time also. I might just think about and drilling all the spot welds between the roof and the bottom sheet metal IN THE RAIN GUTTER so I wouldnt ruin either side for plug welding the holes anyways,,,,,  just time consuming.  The other way would be to use the plasma cutter and do a really nice cut and leave all the sheet metal for someone else to put in like normal panel repair....
