Ok guys haven't posted in a while but now that winter is coming I can work on the Falcon. I wish I had half the knowledge some of you have but I hopefully will learn.

Anyway I have the 170 engine in the 62 van and really smokes bad. Got a lead on a 200 from a 60's??? Falcon car getting a motor upgrade and was wondering what I need to know to/if I should get it for the van . The guy said it runs good just leaks oil at the valve cover gasket and the price is free. So options, suggestions, will it fit

I am planning on keeping my trans with the 3on the tree. The other has a auto trans and I do not want to stray to far from original

It should bolt right up to your Econoline transmission.
