So I've decided to do the 20 gallon mustang tank swap. I have a couple questions: Do I use my stock sending unit? What do I use for tank straps?? Any help would be great, I found the write up on the modifications for the filler, should be no problem. Do I just make my own straps or are there ready made ones I can buy?
I got the Van running yesterday but the tank is toast, I think it has a critter nest in it?? Now I just need to figure out my seating options...
    Thanks Steve in Washington...Smile

We lengthened our straps using 1" flatbar (that what we had lying around).
Bought the '69 Mustang tank with sending unit off of ebay.
We drive ours and the extra range from the 20 gallon tank comes in handy!
