I second that on the GREAT line up! I am very partial to that orange no-door. If you have seen it in person, you would know what I mean. Many subtle mods on that one for sure.

Re: What are you up to?
Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, I'm right there with you Tom. I've been too busy just shoveling snow around the van so that it doesn't build up too much. We missed the storm this time, it went south of us which is great! Now we just need the temps to start creeping up in the right direction. Good news is the sun seems to be rising earlier and setting later these days!!!

Its March now boys, we're over the hump..Hopefully this is the last hurrah on the snow at least in most of the US...Days are getting longer, birds are singing, and we got 1+ inch of snow instead of the 6-8 " they were calling for but geez, it was 2 degrees this morning!

Re: What are you up to?
Settled into Coon Rapids and really digging the spring weather, it was a long cold winter. Especially for a Texan.
What I'm up to now that its warm enough is interior. Time to change it from a cargo van to a travel / camping van.
I finally scored a job at United Health last December and kind of finding my groove again.
Good to see a lot of the old names on here still..

The Verizon gig in Raleigh never panned out and Minnesota is the best thing going for a job right now. Right now I am waiting to hear back from United Health Group to see if I got the job.
On Tuesday the 17th we are taking Interstate 35 up.. Penske Truck towing the Van.
Already rented a house in Coon Rapids.
On another note..
Replaced the timing gears, and have been tuning my Holley. The Van hasn't ever run as good as it is now.
Any other Minnesota Vanners on the site?

Re: What are you up to?
Good to hear from you Joe, I hope all is going well for you and yours. I forgot about that picture, I look a little different now that I've grown my hair out again.
I tried to find a job up in your area, I like the area, and of course being near other Vanner's would have been pretty cool too. Just wasn't in the cards..
We are on the fence now, not sure if we want to stay about four years and move again, or settle for much longer. Either way its just close enough to justify buying a house here. Right now my rent house garage is stuffed and working on the van is frustrating because I am always having trouble finding my tools.

Re: What are you up to?
Thanks Wideload,
I was thinking about all that the other day.
The last time I saw the guy (David) that painted your van, he was building a car that would flip end over end when they jam on the brakes.
Glad you are proudly displaying the flag, I had a lot of fun watching the build.
It's good to be back on the site again..
