covered my van project =turned on heaters in water well areas, drained water hoses & checked all antifreeze qualitys -24F here in am tomorrow-

i guess i'm lucky having a heated garage, i hate winter, its hard on my ol bones, lol

It was 74 degrees here in St Louis today, but Im lucky to have a garage to keep Magic in to tinker with all winter...and believe me the tinker list is very long, today it was clean up the wiper motor, evaluate knobs and switches, shopped for fittings to replace the rubber fuel line with a steel one, stare at the windows and wonder how long it will take me to get those installed in the front and side doors, blah blah blah...oh well its several months till spring.

We had 9 cars from our car club in the Inverses Veterans Day parade.

Sounds fun on the parade ^5s.. I got mine pulled into the shop before it got snowed on.........

What's SNOW ? Don't get that here in FLA.

Vanny, No one believes us that it is not as hot here where we are as it gets up north. We came from up-state N.Y. in the southern tier and it gets dammed uncomfortable and no AC. Our place is only about 5 miles from the gulf.

ate least in fla. you get a nice breeze all the time, we go to key west in july and its not that bad with a cool breeze off the ocean, up here when its 90 its unbearable, and theres plenty of bars in key west, lol

Ah Yes, the Parrot Head Effect! I've heard of Margaritaville! Here, we had the first Snow of the Season this morning and it's still on the lawn, only about 1/2 inch but a sign of things to come.  

 Yea, we got the same here..Low 30s. I wish i could be out west right about now.

Here in Santa Barbara it's about 70 degrees. Kind of cool for a fall day.

22 this morning! this is the time of the year when the highs vary 30 degrees one day to the next.

Tonight we are getting strong down hill winds, it is now 8:00 p.m. and it is 77 degreess outside. These winds also cause real bed brush fires, it is going to be a real uneasy night until the winds die down.

I guess you know you different ,when on Thankgiving day I go to  Nursing home to see Dad then work on my 68 van,&  Black Friday when everbodys going Nuts for Xmas gifts(I don't do Xmas & hate crowds)I go to Menards to get Lauan plywood for the 65 BB project interior .  Am I nut's??

Not nuts savage....I feel the same way. Our kids are old enough now and all have bills to pay, so christmas is gift cards and cash. I can get all my shopping done at one ATM machine and a local pharmacy...lol. We have them all come out for the day and my wife cooks up a great meal and we visit and have a few wobbly pops and enjoy family time. My Mom and Dad are both in a care home now and we may go there and rent their large family room and bring christmas to them this year. 24 more sleeps...wow, where did the year go.

Crazy like a Fox!!! We're all at least a little nuts but for us, just owning one or three or fifteen of these gems is never enough or too much! We've got the fever and the only prescription is "More Vans!"
