I looks to be a mechanical one to me, the electronic ones have a connector going into the front.

that has been replaced it's not factory.I think if the lid does not come off to adjust the contacts then it should be electronic.

i saw one exactly like that one on ebay, but it doesnt say electronic or not...mayby somebody will know. i'll wait before changing it...corrosive

looks like an aftermarket model, not original to a dodge. and i have seen that style with electronic parts inside. almost looks like a ford motorcraft unit.

My guess is it's an aftermarket replacement for the mechanical one.
It will work with the mechanical wiring and circuits.
It's probably electronic inside, but is not a replacement Electronic one.

I had one that was similar, it is electric for replacing the mech one.

just for safetys sake=?????? get some protective hose or whatever covering over that steel cable that close to touching the regulator terminal-hehe = be safe - we dont need any fires!!
