Some member here with a Econo I think has a small blower motor exhausting the heat out of the doghouse. I would like to do this to my Chevy. After driving on long trips it starts hard if I stop somewhere. I would like to know where to get this blower

G-man
Bernie and myself have added blowers to the dog house.
Also (induction) air intake from under the belly pan.
We used 3"bilge blowers form West Marine and 3" flexible duct from Home Depot. If I get off my lazy ass, I'll post picture or send them to you

In my gallery look at picture 11 in the upper right, it shows the thermo switch purchased at Graingerss. Picture 25 upper left shows duct intake 3" from top of doghouse lid.
It does pull out quite a bit of hot air , But nothing really helps at lets say "no wake" speed

Re: looking for a thread???
chris over the winter i installed the same idea . i used a rear window defroster motor .installed it near the top of the dog house behind the driver laid it out correctly so it blows a 2 in abs (black plastic) in to the frame. sealed all the joints . just on a toggle switch. but works well. the rear defroster off the late 60's early 70's mopars,,,
