I found this on craigslist near me.... He doesnt know if it is econoline or F100...I cant get to my trucks right now.. He said it is 51" king pin to kingpin on the bottom side. 29" perch to perch, drums are 5 1/4 x 11..

Looking at the picture it has a lot of leaves in the springs, and he said the bolt pattern is 5x5 1/4

Im gonna measure mine on saturday to see if the axle might work, I know the bolt pattern and the drums are wrong

    Looks like early 60's F 100, bolt pattern would be 5 on 5 1/2. E-line would be 5 on 4 1/2 (as you know).

Not sure if they would swap, for some reason I remember the pickup being wider than the E-line, which is why the van axle was popular for swapping into cars during the gasser era in the 60's.

Found a site for custom axles, gives the dimensions for ALL straight axles- very helpful.

    http://www.droppedaxles.com/FORD_AXLES.html

According to that page, that is a 48 - 52 F1 pickup axle. Spring perch dim too narrow for your e-line.

    ORIGINAL AXLE MEASUREMENTS

    2-3/8" Kingpin Boss
    50-3/4" Kingpin Center to Center
29" Spring Perch Center to Center
    1-3/4" Wide Spring
    .8125 dia. Kingpin

Thanks guys for the replies and the link... that droppedaxle.com site has a lot of good info and that certainly is not an econo axle.
