I remember when almost our whole neighborhood would get together...
go on picnics
have parties (grown-ups theirs, us kids had ours)
set off fireworks in the culdasac on the 4th
I could go trick or treating by myself without worry

Thats a great memory, I got my first and only set of those and had them in my 1970 mustang....those things were a trip...had enough power for the people in the back seat to beg for mercy or earplugs.... My then girlfriend/now wife bought a set of them used in a local shop and had them in a 77 firebird....this was about 1979 or so..You have to remember that we didn't have the selection of car audio that we have today..no huge amps and or subwoofers
...I hung on to my set for a long time but for some stupid reason I don't have them any more? Great memories..
