    I have a 68 with a dash pad that is cracking up but I don't think its funny. How can I fix/repair/replace? Ideas?

    There's a guy here that mailed his dash pad to a place that remade it somehow. Looks like brand new. But I think he paid $500 or $600! I can find out if you like.

    Has anyone had a 1st Gen dash pad redone? (Or ever even seen one?!) I think they only came with the deluxe package. Mine came with one (real beat up) but I prefer the plain metal look. Anyone want it?

    A friend of mine had some vynal(cant spell) pad issues with some splits.He told me he took some gorilla glue and thin layered the gash,letting it fully dry between 'coats'.When filled,sanded smooth,then vynal dyed.Told me wasn't perfect,but it worked.I myself have not tried this,but may be worth a shot on an experimental piece.

    made my own out of fiberglass and covered with vinyl. Worked out great because I wanted to cover up the old speaker hole in the middle.
