    Whats the hang up with AMC brakes? Cant find nothing on this, Google, forums............

    The guy I bought my 66 pickup off of said they were done about 20yrs ago?
    They use all AMC parts, not just the calipers. Thats the info I cant find,
    Just curious what the hang up is as all parts are still readily available and as you can see in the pictures they've been on there a LONG time, so durability isnt exactly an issue?????

    My question would be about power brake boosters and proportioning valves. How do they play in this and where do they mount.?

    I just did AMC 1 pot discs on my 63 AMC... I used a GM J series proportioning valve. Not sure if this helps but My wagon and the van are about the same size with he wagon being a V8 car. No power booster was needed. Brakes stuff was purchased through Galvan's Rambler parts and the proportioning valve off the net early Camaro/Firebird.
