WHY DID IT CHANGE, I HATE CHANGE!!!
Just kidding, looks great. I just wanted to be the first to gripe about the change!
Keep up the good work Chebby and Vanish.

Re: Great new look to the forums
Sorry... very confusing with IE8. graphic elements like post headings (orange bars), menu buttons not lining up, and having to relocate the links I'm used to clicking. I'm sure there is tweaking going on.

Re: Great new look to the forums
Confused the crap outta me for a second, thought I clicked on the wrong bookmark!
Will take some getting used to but definately has a throwback feel to it.
The verdict is out at this moment as to whether I like it or not.......

Re: Great new look to the forums
I like change. text does seem smaller, but you can always increase the size using the view adjustment on your computer (zoom in-mac, 125% or 150% windows) or something like that.

I have to agree. The type is much smaller and harder to read. The old site was more welcoming, in my opinion. I'm young but like the large feel and lettering that is gone.

My other thought as well is that this site was so much easier to follow than the VCVC site. Their site felt like an old computer screen and this kind of seems that way to me now. For some reason, it doesn't fill my screen any longer. This site rocked because it was so user friendly.
I love the site and never had any complaints, but this ain't jiving for me.

Re: Great new look to the forums
I don't care for this new format at all. Now the pics are shoved off to the side and part has been cut off. The other way was better in my opinion.

Re: Great new look to the forums
Vanish is going to see if there is something that can be done with text size. Change is hard for most of us, but please guys there a lot of work to do something like this. Try playing with it for a while before running it down. It hasn't change on how to do most things here. Things for the most part are just in different locations.

Re: Great new look to the forums
As I said also , For us guys running IE and windows XP,,, yeah ima dinosaur to,,go to your task bar and open VIEW, find ZOOM and use the Control key and + to fill the screen. I have a 19" monitor and it really made a huge difference on readability.

Re: Great new look to the forums
Boy after reading all the comments, both positive and negative, it just goes to show how set in our ways we all seem to be. But then again, that is probaly why we all love the old vans and trucks I like the look and feel of the site. The text is smaller then the old site, but I use the smaller txt on everything else so not a big issue for me. To me it seems quicker to load, which is a huge plus when there are lots of pics, which we all want to see. Great work guys. Keep moving forward, while maintaining the past...

Thanx Diggs
Thanx diggs- that helps -yet makes the whole screen (all) larget and then is too large for us to scro;; over all-more to do to view all. Is there a way just the text thats shown could be enlarged (from site) so us old guys can view it better & still have the same size on the screen( larger text only?)--also why is it when we wanted tio type in a reply - we now must pick a text color or we cant reply in the large boxed area?? before -all we had to do is type in the reply area? Diggs or someone thats responsible for the changes??

Re: Great new look to the forums
I just posted a piccy on another thread, and only half the picture fitted on the screen. There was no way of scrolling across to view the rest of the picture either, so i ended up deleting it....!!
