The First big picture is the wires that are running to the starter, I just want to make sure they are all suppose to be there, and what do they connect to?

The second image is a cap connector that I near the starter and I didn't know where theta connected on there either?

THe last image is by the wire block on the drivers side, its a red wire that runs off it and goes no where. Does anyone know where it connects?

ok here goes= that connector is i believe for oil pressure sender - as im looking @ it & my elect skematic.
The thing bolted to the engine back side is the horn relay- should have a green & a black wire in a plug to it.or wires that go to / under a screw s. That red wire id look where it goes to=?? likely a hot wire feed to something - ull have to determine that. as for the starter wires - heres the colors on the skematic & where they go to on starter-yellow -from coil to starter="R" terminal- yes its marked on starter solenoid. large Positive batt cable & a wire thats red & from same terminal to that relay(horn) check thats where its going? - then 1=purple wires & 1 Dk blue- from the "S" terminal on starter- 1 to neutral safety switch & 1 to to dash area. Now = dont hook up that batt cable to batt - just touch it & see if anything sparks or the Batt cable sparks - that will indicate a Draw on batt system - with key OFF!! not a correct symptom. careful - be sure to trace each wire on where it goes to from .

Alright thanks. I really appreciate the help, now I gotta go see how everything matches up. But I have one more question. Do you know what or where I can get a new wiring piece like this? The wire was so old and brittle it just broke off.
