Re: What are you up to?
Going to check out two G10's this weekend.
A 1968 white for $500. The guy says it runs great and only need a windsheild!!!
And a 1965 for $800. Also runs fine, all glass good but has some rust in the normal places.
Will see for myself and let you all know what I find. Not really looking for another one right now but for these prices I have to go look! Both in Northern Florida.

Re: What are you up to?
Update on the Van(s) I "was" going to check out. Called the 65 for $800 guy and told him I was coming and suddenly he just had to tell me there were a few more things I needed to know about the van. Likeeeee. The motor is shot. Well guessing it’s just the rings from what he told me and the rust around all the windows is a bit "more" than "Normal" as he first described and the roof was formally used as a "Trampoline..." Also that 6 people had come and looked at it already since he listed it 3 months ago……… Hmmm, 3 months, 6 people at $800 and no taker’s…..
Decided to pass on the 140 mile trip just to check it out…..
.............................................................................................
The 1968 window van for $500. The guy never call me back. Still want to check this one out. He said it runs great and would drive it anywhere and it only needs some minor bodywork and a windshield. Maybe next weekend.
The good news is I decided to go check out the local Flea Market and guess what I found?
ARE YOU READY?
................ REALLY READY?
Their "TENZO" Rally reclining racing seats! And their 20" wide.....
............. GOT THEM BOTH FOR..... $29 ! YEAH BABY! "SCORE!"

Re: What are you up to?
Funny you should ask Chris. I was just looking them up..
$300-$500 Each depending on where you look.
The cheapest I could find was this place $500 for the pair....

Re: What are you up to?
What are you putting them in van or jeep???? I looked at a set awhile ago, but they were to wide for a early. Even if you don't used them you should be able to make money on those.

Re: What are you up to?
Very true, kind of my thought when I saw them and asked "How much" The old guy said $30 for both and I thought he was joking so I said: Way too much... How about $29? He laughed and said "OK".....
I had to ask if he was serious and when he said yes, I just pulled out my wallet!
Their only 20” wide so thinking they’ll fit with no problem. Will do a test fit tomorrow and let you know. They came with mounting brackets and racing harnesses too. And yes I was thinking “VAN” from the start. The jeep got new everything from the ground up a few years ago, it’s good.

Re: What are you up to?
Yeah. First thing I did was measure them... Before I asked "How much"...
I really thought he was going to say $100-$150 ea.

Finally got the motorhome parking done for now, and the moho back home. Did some musical cars, sold the 57 p/u, and now can start some serious work on the Handi.

been piddiling in the garage / remodeling or actually rearranging. been working on the drip rail on the bugeye pretty rusted but fixable if i quit piddling and get busy maybe i can get the body work done by fall and get it painted. trying to decide on paint scheme two tone, silver w/ white filler or blue body with white roof, decissions decissions, or if i don't get busy faded white and rust.

Re: What are you up to?
Had to get "new" exhaust clamps for my Y-pipe after I hit a "pothole" (bomb crater???) and knocked the y-pipe off the manifolds. Then as I am tightening things up I get hit in the forehead with a drop of antifreeze from the weep hole on the water pump. After that it was time to quit until this weekend, maybe my luck will change by then.
