finallly purchased new tires for the bugeye firestone indy 500, they look good with my 52 dodge coronet hubcaps, still sanding and doing some bondo on the body but pretty much finished with the driprails. still hoping to get it painted by april, going with a dark blue body and white roof.

Re: What are you up to?
Wow, had myself a very stressful day. My mom and sister both had successful surgeries and the kidney transplant is headed for a smooth finish. Thanks for your wishes and prayers, they say thanks as well
Also, has anyone seen cash cab? Its a tv show on discovery with a newer ford windstar... The van isn't cool, but the amazing LED roof is something to check out!

Cope,
Glad to hear everything went ok. We watch the Cash Cab and think the roof is pretty cool!

Re: What are you up to?
Got some goodies from the pull 'n save here in spokane, i decided i'm gonna jump right in and go for the gauge update as well! plus seatbelts with rubber holsters to mount on the front of the doghouse so the buckles aren't rattling away when not in use. i'm fairly sure the gauges and belts both came out of a '78.
also, mom is out of the hospital today lazing around the house recovering. word in the hospital is that my sister will be released tomorrow lots of meds and follow up appointments in the next few weeks, but will be glad to have them both back in my care, its tough to leave your family anywhere!
