Got a few pics of the radio, and I can send to your e-mail instead of using up space here. I bench tested it today and it works great, even the light works in the face. I don't want a heck of a lot for it, and I can hang onto it as it is not in the way here....send me your e-mail to chryco@shaw.ca and I will e-mail the pics if you want.....

Re: A100 radios
well I believe that its a dealer installed by the dealer(I dont think they put it in at the factory)p.s.it has power steering too.The A/C seems to need a recharge cause it only blows cool air so I havent really run it long enough to see what it can do.

Re: A100 radios
Factory power steering? I didnt know they had that. I wish mine had that, being 16 years old and about 140 pounds doesnt help me steer or break. Haha.

Re: A100 radios
yeah the power steering rules!I have a buddy who can convert your stock stereo to a modern one but it's freakin costly $280 just for the kit.If I was you I'd weld up the hole in the dash and stash a modern radio in the glovebox.

Re: A100 radios
Who can convert it? And what would he do? I really dont want to weld up the hole, if anything i'll buy a sock radio that doesnt work, fill in the metal that has been cut out, thro that in there, and put a hidden one under the dash with a flip down face plate or something. Then I'd have the option of CDs too.

Re: A100 radios
Personally, I'm going with the redirad. It adds the mini hook ups via an external box. When it detects audio on the input it cuts out the antenna. Then you can use your ipod or whatever and it doesn't ruin your stock radio. They sell them on ebay as well as rediscoverradio.com. I believe there are some youtube videos out there also.

Re: A100 radios
Wow! thats awesome. but you cant listen to regular FM through it though if i only have AM huh? :/ But i can sacrifice that for iPod and whatnot. I mainly use that in my aily driver car anyways. Its just long trips with the music might get boring.,

Re: A100 radios
I'm kinda glad my A doesn't have a radio and no hole in the dash, I thinking of a overhead console with a am/fm cd stereo seen a JVC at wally world even had a mp3 slot and the face plate lighting changed colors - kinda 60-70's hippy thing which I thought was cool. even have my CB ready to mount.

Re: A100 radios
I thinking about takingthe speaker slots and making them run to the bottom of the dash as a style thing, and just delting the radio off the dash completely now. I'm still not sure, though.
