    I know it posted here someplace, but I can't seem to find it now??? Anyway the 454 came with a newer(1977) alt so want to use it and get rid of volt reg. Got to run sone other wires(tack & HEI) so now the time to do it((before I fill in big hole in doghouse) Don need your help. Thank's for everbody help.

    Hey Savage, I didn't realize you live in Ft Wayne, I was up there about a month ago doing some work in the 'Do It Best' office. At this point I don't know if I will be going back or not, but I will let you know if I do.

    Hey I'm there fixing stuff so you can make money in your area..

    I'm hoping to get out to Riverside in the next three months. I haven't been out in a long time.

    Thanks for the info on 1 vs. 3 wire. Always heard the 1 wires didn't crank voltage till higher RPMs. Thanks for posting the URLs as they were really helpful. PO on my flattie had done a nice job converting to 3 wire which was a nice surprise.
