Re: headlight switch, wiper switch
So what kind of wiper motor do you have? The original is a 1 speed,,,a wire from the fuse goes to the motor and 1 wire comes up to the switch which just grounds it to make the wipers move,,,,and do you have the bezel and knob for an original headlight switch? And chances are pretty good you will find the switches on a Corvair Parts Site, since thats what these dashes are from,,,,,

Re: headlight switch, wiper switch
The wiper motor probably has a yellow wire to it from the fuse box fuse,,,,,,the rest of the terminals need to be grounded to make it work,,,,,so the switch has to be in the dash and the dash has to be installed for the switch to work. The switches come in 3 flavors,,,1 wire for a 1 speed,,,,2 wires for a 1 speed with the windshield washer pump built on the wiper motor and 3 wires for a 2 speed with windshield washers,,,,so basically you need to match the switch to the motor,,,,,,,,,the switch for washers have a push button in the middle of the knob,,,,

So Moe, is the pump bolted on the motor or part of it? and do you have a good washer bottle for it,,,,,they probably make new little electric pumps to spray the windshield,,,,,,
