    wiper switch Empty wiper switch

Post by mechaniman Mon Apr 24, 2017 1:35 pm

I got a 66 econoline supervan, I believe it has a 2 speed wiper motor. somebody wired in a volvo wiper switch and I'm looking at upgrading to the later style delay style switch.

without the original switch in it, it makes it tough to figure out what wires goo where.
could someone post a picture of the back of the switch with wires connected so i can figure out the pinout.

    thanks

I don't have a picture of the wiper switch, but maybe this diagram will help. It shows both a two speed (at top) and a one speed switch (bottom). This is for a '65 but should be similar for a '66.

Turned out I only have a single speed motor and my wiring matches your diagram.
thanks buddy. I found a 2 speed motor and the delay style switch with wiring. now i just need to go through and figure out my motor mounting and wiring. thanks
