Post by Pumpkin Fri May 20, 2011 1:08 pm

I'm looking for a 66 no window van. Long prefered, but doesn't matter. As solid a body as posible, nothing else realy matters, if it rolls that would be nice. Its getting timwe to start the build for my brother.

If you want a 108 , you'll have to look at 67-70 models

Question??? Why just a 66??? 64 & 65 only have fewer grill slots. If you open up to the other years it will help your search. And what price range???

I don't get online too much. just looked at the links posted up, but they were expired. Got some leads,,,,,,,,,,,but waiting on my brother to proceed. The latest one posted looks to have promise, and is not too far to go. Being we are in Canada, anything that has a chance of being solid is a days drive.

Hey Pump, I sent two emails to your bro's email address.

    Have you seen this link?

    https://vintage-vans.forumotion.com/t18571-what-s-my-van-worth?highlight=What+s+my+van+worth

Those are old pics. Now the roof is welded up nice and tight with another section of roof and primered black, the door panels are on and all the chrome trim. I repainted the wheels fresh white since I am getting it pretty for the Vanstock movie shoot.

Got the emails thank you. When my bro decides on one I'll let you know. I'm kinda leaning towards a 5.3 ls engine for his new to him van. We'll just have to see how much persuasion I have.

Thats why it van be worth it for us Canadians to drive a day or so to find a lot less rusty vehicles. The money and time spent on travel and shipping is well worth it when you see the rust we have to deal with. And just cause it has shiny paint doesn't mean anything, plastic can hide a lot of sins.
