by I Picked up my V-8 Cross member for Vic today ..... I Got to say .... He Dose some nice work !!!! I recommend him for the cross member if you doing a V-8 Conversion ,,,,, it turned out NICE ......... Thanks' again Vic ..... aka ... Old Skool Here on the Board !!!!!!

Chris ... Got to Find some more Parts in the Junk yard ... to get the rear end under it ... so it's going to be just a bit still ... but all in all it's coming together slowly ...... Vic's Building me a Steering column right now .... I got a Look at it today too ..... Coming out NICE ..... Vic Dose GREAT WORK ....... I AM PLEASED !!!!!!!!! I also took the Gas tank in to the shop today .... getting it Coated inside & out ...... So we got progress in the works !!!!!

When you say building you a steering column, is this some kind of different one or rebuilding the stock one ? and what exactly do they do to the gas tank ? do you just take yours out and hand it to them and they do the rest ? Does that get pricey ?

bumpbug .... He's Making a auto Colum for me ..... On the Gas tank I just Took it to the the Shop and the Do the rest !!! they put a coating on the inside and the out side ... it prevents any rust .......

POR-15 sells a gas tank restoration kit, includes a few products to clean and prep the tank, then the coating for inside and outside.
