Not many so far have said they are going, but it's still early. Hopefully higher gas won't keep vanners away. You do have the cost if getting there and back, but once there you really don't have to leave the grounds because most thing you need will be there. As far as a swap I have seen guy's bring parts for sale

I'm coming from Chattanooga Tn. w/2 vans #1 my mule "HERCULES" the gladiator custom 1993 . Its a little on the high side.
33x12.5 tires on 10 in wide wheels with 5in lift
#2 My 1967 shorty window van. 550 hp 383 stroker, 9in ford 4.56 gear
I'm having trouble w/getting to wheelie big enough , but it will be done by show
Its old school w/cragers and gasser look.
I cant wait til show time been planning this for a year now.

hercules has new rear gear, my mule. Scooby doo just got his 4500 stall converter, still having carb trouble . I m still bringing it anyway. It just wont wheelie very good. Looks like i'll be there on wed. night , or thur early. Long haul from Chattanooga Tn.

The 40 th Nats will be held in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Barely above the IL state line,in the south east corner of WI very close to Chicago.
Flyers will be available after the front gates open for the 39th Nats.
