39th Nat's Are you going????

Wookee from here and VCVC and myself will be getting to the nat's early to get us a big spot so all the early's can park together. Hoping I can get some No#'s who think they are going or who maybe going. Just so we can get enough spaces.

When are you arriving Chris? I ll be there too. I ve got the whole week off.

Hopefully more are planning to come this year, we are planning to be teaming up with the VCVC guy's and parking all together. Should be a great early's turn out like last time it was in Ohio.

the club i belong to will have 10 vans @ the nats. 4 of them will be earlies . i am the pres of the club so i kind of have to park with them. but i will be down to meet every one that is in the earlies group.....

will be there. new to vans, not sure what to expect. mine looks good, but aint gonna win no prizes. do i have to enter it? tell me more about this event.

Your van doesn't have to be a show van to be there, alot of works in progress there. This is a great place for ideas for your van.

Chris just so you know monday and tuesday is additional $10.00 a day. John. it is the premere event of the year for the vannin world. layed back. they have food vendors.glass etching. pinstriping .flairs for newer vans no earlies. ice. live bands every nite. kid and aldult games. just my guess i'll say 600 maybe more vans. they have some nice things to do. if you broke down someone will help ya. it's like a big brotherhood. if you take any young one they have a curfue.@ nite..if you take any kids just so you know there will be people smoking weed. i would rather you know ahead opposed to wish had known. it is a good time. ps almost forgot about the cold showers......you can walk in to anyone's camp and just start talking. like Cris said you donot have to show. altho you can.the show will have about 200 vans in it. that is why they are going to use 2 days for the show...I hope this helps you out...

dix Thanks on the infor, but knew about the extra 10 per day. This is my vacation this year and going the whole week this time. Once you go to this event you'll be back as dix said the people are great, great time , great stories, great place to get ideas for your van. Theres stockers to customs , show vans to project vans.

monday and tuesday not a lot going on the event starts on wensday , if you bring the kids you will need to look at the web site to find some kind of enertainment / something differnt for a day so the kids don't get board. swimming or something. if they bring a bike make sure they stay far enough away from the vans. you will see some big dollar paint jobs there. but there is pleanty of room for the vans and the kids.Iwould say bring them along let the family enjoy your passion. but i wouldn't take a young family till wensday.If you are staying till sunday morning. That is just my opion thou. been there done that. my son is all grown up now....

Yea man,you got it!! One guy even has a stripper pole in his Sprinter van. Much fun to be had a this event for sure. Lots of very friendly people willing to share ideas.

wednesday am for us, short ride this year,

so are we doing anything to support our forum? t-shirts, bumper stickers, window film or evan a cardboard sign to display in window? maybe some small magnetic signs instead of bumper stickers.

Seeing as I am going to be a newbie to this nats camping thing, What all should a person bring with them?? Im not talking extra parts and tools btw and I'm sure the strippers are out on my list ( I'd have to import talent of that caliber). My usual version of camping is a 5th wheel the Missus has packed already by the time I start the engine to leave...

Being your first Nat's Joe your what they call a puppy trucker. As far as what you need just all the camping stuff you have or think you need for a few days. There are food vendors and ice there. But I just went to the food store a few times for cooking & beer of course

jrinaman don't worry I have quite a bit of stuff to let everyone know Vintage-Vans was there, but more would be welcome (signs etc)

Guys.....I'm planning on having an Early Gathering at my Beach House the weekend prior to the Natz! All are welcome! We are situated on beautiful lake Erie and North of the Natz by a few counties but within 2 1/2 hours. 7 miles north of route 90 in NE Ohio. Let me know if you would like to stop by and visit or stay the weekend.
