39th Van Nationals Are you going???

The 39th Van Nationals is going to be a great event for us to get together as a club. Sadly this isn't something as that our whole internet group can go to. Still to far for most of our west coast members.

My question is how many of you are planning or thinking of going????

If we get enough do we what to plan a Vintage Van cook out one of the nights????

Like I said other day,gives me a goal to shoot for on being Done.Count me in!

We all need to spread the word to the other early van sites, VCVC , the econo sites, the A100 Yahoo group, vannin.com.

Sounds like a plan. Have to see when my vacation will be before I know which day I can leave out. I wont find that out til next March when we pick for the new fiscal year which starts June 1.

Only Van show I know about Bill is the Baker's show every year in June

There is Taz Fest in the Chicago area in early Sept.

Not sure if I'll be going, but it is very high on the list for vacation plans for next summer! We'll make final decisions come January. On the plus side my wife sounded interested in going, I'll keep you posted. G-man thanks for the PM.

Just wanted to keep this out front , want to see as many Vintage Van members there as possible. Your van doesn't have to be a show van to come. A lot of projects are there every year. So keep working on your vans to get them ready for the trip

Un like "car shows"where every thing is pretty well finished and shiny. Vanners love to see/accept projects that are not quite done.
There is just a soft spot in vanners harts for any Early.They are a big part of vanning history.

Do what it takes to get your ride road worthy for the trip.(that needs to be done first any ways).Then come on out for the event.

Well spoken Wookee! I love looking at all makes and all diffrent levels of completion. Im shooting for the nats, I do have a lot on my plate the next couple of years. I plan on breaking ground for my new shop next year!~

We will also be working on getting us a big spot so all the Earlies can park together.
If you are a first timer you will have a place where you will at least know the vanners screen names and vans.The rest will fall right into place......
Wives kids and pets are also welcome.......

Just want to chime in that the 35th Nats was my first and meeting the guys from VCVC was such a great experience. As Wookie said, it was like meeting people I already knew and everything fell into place. Lots of fun and I also plan on attending next year's Nats as well to revisit the members of our "extended family"
