39th Van Nationals Are you going???

electric is a #1 priority.Water is also nice.
shade .....well some times that can be a real problem at a fair ground type location......
I am thinking if we get a big enough spot we can group a bunch of easy ups and portable shelters together and make a huge area in the center and park all the Earlies around this area.

I know the shade thing is almost never there, I will be bring all my pop-ups and will have a big camp this year. Have a brunch of cool stuff to display. Wookee what day do you plan on getting there???

I do not think I have ever been to this fairgrounds.
I went to Lost this year just to try to get an idea for a place for us to park.When i got there on Sunday all of the spots that i really wanted to park at where already taken......LOL
The spot we did get worked out fine though.......

Who want's to meet me in Columbus?

toad Columbus is not really far from the grounds, if I get that close I would just go the rest of the way. toad we will be looking for a big spot so all the early's can park together. Look forward to meeting you and seeing your van

Yes, it is close, I live in Columbus. Just thought it would be neat to get a bunch of us to meet here and have a long convoy of earlies out to the grounds.

What day are you planning on leaving?
There is a big gathering/ ceremonie at the gates when the Nationals open on Wednesday.

I can leave just about any day. Just need to know what others are doing so I can plan accordingly. Wednesday morning to be there at noon would be ideal.

the wife & me are plannig on going. leaving from buffalo new york hoping to find other vanners to cruise with it looks to be about 5 hr. trip for us

Got this grill for free and $60 buck later like new, going to bring this to the Nat's. Plan on cooking a mountain of food so everyone stop by for some eats. There a Costco in close by so I'll be stopping there a few times that week

Looking into tee shirts with the vv logo on the front and the nationals dates on the back. Also looking into magnets to stick on our vans with the vv logo. Would like to know who would commit before I get in over my head. Don't wanna sit on a bunch of tee's and magnet's . Anyone? Also if we were to do a convoy, I thought it would also be cool for us in the convoy to have the magnet with the vv logo. toad

im good for a couple t's . could try and set up places to meet along the way to convoy in there. like cleveland or akron

I was thinking like 12"X20" for the magnets. And not looking to make money on these, just break even.
