In 2003 when I first wanted to get back into the "earlies" I found a fairly solid '64 Chevy near Lansing. Made the deal. Had it delivered. It sat in the driveway for months and decided I wanted less of a project. Sold it locally to a guy named Doug. Over the years I tried contacting him to see if he still had it and was interested in selling it back to me. He never returned my calls. I finally gave up. Jump ahead several years. While cleaning off my desk today and organizing old pictures I came across the only picture I took of the '64. Upon further inspection there was something very familiar and very recent about the van. Logged onto this site and did a little research. Then I called G-Man, discussed some details of his '64, matched up VIN#s to his '64 and sure enough my intuition was correct. It turns out that my first flat glass is now know as PROJECT "G". Talk about a small world! Too bad Chris won't sell it back to me - LOL. Oh well...my loss = his gain!

Re: Crazy Discovery!!!
Now that's cool Bill. But not surprised. As early vanner's we live in a rather small world. Very cool!
