Greetings VintAge Vans, Lockwasher here. I'm a new member to the site. First off I gotta credit/blame my neighbor for getting me into this van-thang. Over the last couple of months I've watching him transformed a beat-up '63 Econoline into a very slick and unique ride. His enthusiasm has been contagious. How contagious?...in the last two weeks I picked up a couple of project vans for myself, a '65 & a '64 (donor), both 170/3speeds . As an artist/metal sculptor, Lockwasher Design, I needed a vehicle for hauling my latest creation to show/galleries. My "new" Econoline cargo van fits the bill perfectly! Gonna take some work to get it road worthy but with the help of my bud next door and the combined knowledge base found here how can I go wrong.
Here's a shot of the day I score the '65...
and a quick photo-shopped idea of what the new company vehicle could look like. I'll be posting more pics in addition to available parts for sale from the "64 as soon as I can.
