funny, we went to a live music joint a few weeks ago and they had all these portraits on the wall of guys with elaborate mustaches. she was certain they were fake. a quick internet search on the iphone yielded the source of the pics, world mustache and bear championship! who knew it was a competetive sport?

not mustache, but I used to have a long goatee. one of my best friends has his chin hairs braided with an iron cross embedded into it, but he's a bit of a douchebag.

In Shamrock, Texas they have a beard growing contest to see who can grow the longest beard in one year.
