Van plans for 2011

OK guy's what are your goals for your van in the coming year??? Are you hoping for big things this year or small steps threw the year???

For Me I'm hoping to really get things moving on the 64

1. finish the disc brakes
2. buy another motor and get it running (be nice to drive it even if it's around the parking lot)
3. start some interior ideas

Big & Small= new engine running & driveable, Paint & Body=) Then rebuilding & install the 700R4 trans. Small= build a overhead console, Interior panels,and finish work for 2012 vacations & van meets with others.

well for 2011 do the bodywork install the 9in rearend+front kingpins have to wait til april to bring the van to the shop- its a long wait for winter to end

Uuuuuuh.........Happy New Year!

Now that I've had my 3rd cup of coffee, I may be somewhat coherent.....

1) Fix the leak in the oil cooler adapter.

2) Drill holes in the floor and bolt down the sofa bed. Any advice on the best hole locations would be great!

3) Start on the interior.

I plan to,
1 Get alot more drive time planning on some get aways.
2 Stay the course on the interior and get most of that done
3 this is the big one,If all goes well this year this fall it's off to the paint shop!

Finish doing a tear down on the white Chevy parts van.....possible P/U project donor, depends on the shape of the floors, the roof is a total rot out. As for Ester, not really sure, depends on what I find with the Chevy. In any event, the P/U project is at the top of the list with either the parts van or Ester, K5 axles, V8, 700R4 and transfer case.

Finish the red 64 Scout off and start on the the 62 "crawler" project.

Get out and use the motorhome more this year.

I think my year needs to be longer!

1 Install automatic set up
2 Install 9"
3 Try to get the king pins replaced

Just some kind of simple interior on the orange Van.
Get started on the 66 chevy.

I would like to fix the bed floor and put a better paint job on her..... but that would mean bodywork.. (I hate that stuff)

my plan is to sell my 67.....soon i hope

Got seven months till NAT's! Plan on finishing the 66 Panel (Now dubbed "The Green Machine") by then. Maybe some new springs, carpet and window tint for the 65.

Plan on getting drivable and legal for the Round Up, Again! Maybe this year is the year.

Body fab work, paint int/ext, suspension/brakes, AC and put ALL my new parts on it finally, then race the $hit out of it!

King Louie is coming on the 15th.
I'll post pics when it gets here.

As for the 'resolution' type stuff: Gotta' get the A/C installed before summer, some new paint here and there and get working on the interior.
My 'to-do list' is quite a bit longer!

My plans for this year (provided money and time are on my side) are:

1. Finish the remaining metal work prior to total media blasting and epoxy primer
2. Media blast and epoxy primer entire body (inside/outside/top/bottom)
3. Do finish body work
4. Paint
5. Begin putting it all back together.

Although I have high personal objectives and expectations the real world often makes other plans. Scott...

MY PLANS ARE TO INSTALL A HEAD UNIT WITH A AMP. THEN START WORKING THE INTERRIOR , AND ATTEND THE ( NATS )

Now that its running great! I'm currently fixing leaks(oil pan,radiator,master cylinder) if all goes well finish some body work and drive it as much as we can. I think I've talked my wife and daughter into driving the van south for some riding time to get ready for my tri season.
