With winter coming soon and many of our vans off the road for a while what are your winter projects plans for your van vanners.

For me I will be getting some things going on my interior for the 64, unless I find another bodyman, Either way something will get done this winter.

Hahaha! Winter? Down here that means it's cool enough to work on the vans....

But plan on having the new drive-train in the 66 panel van by XMas. Still trying to figure the front disc brakes out, hopefully soon. Been eye-balling another "Parts" van so may be reverse engineering one more van this winter.

Also plan on swapping the 230 and trans out of the Sportvan and putting in the 250 with the HEI & 2bbl Motor-Craft conversion and 2004R.

    Dan

Lets see, First thing is put the roof on that I got from savage, then the finish the body work. Put the motor/tranny back in. Then wire the van, interior, Guess I better get my butt in gear. In the winter my shop slows down and lets me play with my own stuff Bob

Ive got parts and pieces laying all over the place for the 66. Got plenty to keep me occupied there, and like Pan58 , we are slowing down enough where I can put some time in. Have a few interior additions I want to try on my Orange van but those will probably wait til spring.

have most of the parts for my 292 rebuild. want to get the triple carbs working on the 250 before yanking engine. maybe some interior mods. my garage time will be greatly reduced as weather changes and time will be spent finishing the remodeling from last winter.

Installing insulation and paneling; double foil face insulation panels and corrugated PVC panels (Tuxedo black & gray).

Going to throw the truck on stands and redo the rims and get rid of a pesky leak in one tire. Hope to redo the seats and get the dog house insulated with heat and sound deadening material and spray it with new paint. I should also paint the new battery box at the same time. That will take me most of the winter so anything over that will be a benefit.
