    Please note that the recommended fuse ratings are roughly based on 300 circular mils (explained at the bottom of the page) of copper per amp of current. Others may suggest slightly different fuses for a given wire size but these should be generally recognized as safe in most all situations.

    i got a painless fuse panal with spade fuses going to install it in the 66 looks pretty simple. let you know how it go,s pulling the motor and trans in week or two.

    So here's what I ended up with..

    I bought a plastic cutting board from Wally World and cut it down to size. I screwed a speaker magnet to the back so I can just stick it to the firewall. As you can see by the pictures I have plenty of slack to pull it out and work with it, no more leaning in to see whats going on, or where I can add another wire.

    It's not real pretty, but it's done, and very functional.

    I also ran the lights and horn through fuses instead of a junction block / solder joint.
