Maybe we could get everyone willing to buy these to register their interest somewhere, and make a bigger showing of demand cheers

Does anyone have a pic of the door window seals and what all the pieces are called. I need to get some for my truck and when I am looking at all the differnt sites, I stuggle in knowing which items are needed and where they would go.
Just wondering if anyone has like an exploded view of what all is required for both windown and vent?

if you look in the restoration specialties cat, towards the beginning there is a generic view with names of pieces - http://restorationspecialties.com/Catalog-PDF.html - maybe this will help - oo3

    Repost from another thread

checked it out. Thanks. So Karr is the way to go? The post is confusing to me.

    Okay, here's a short version

    Karr makes them.
    KARR Rubber Manufacturing
    133 Lomita St.
    El Segundo, CA 90245
    Phone: (310) 322-1993 or 1-800-955-5277
They have some unhappy customers, and one or two that are happy. Maybe the quality has improved. The unhappy ones seem to be early and late style, the most recent customer has late style and is happy.

Restoration Specialties still does not have them available, online even though they were hoping to back in 2011. I'd suggest contacting them for an update. The other products they have are said to be good quality.
    http://www.restorationspecialties.com/dodgetruck.htm

Pat Walsh lists them and the pop out seals on the site. No feedback on availability or quality.
    http://www.patwalshrestorations.com/DOD_VAN-PU_64-70_ERA.html
    VENT FRAME SEALS
    VENT WINDOW FRAMES REFURBISHMENT KIT

Other restoration seal suppliers that did not have them back in 2010 are
    Robert's
    Metro
    Andy Bernbaum
    Steele

I have not checked back with these other companies in the past 2 years. You can find them all on the net and check current listings.

I'm going to repost this on the other thread to bump it up and keep this all in one spot with a title that reflects the question, rather than here with One-Piece Door Glass title.

Finally got someone from KARR on the phone. Will update everyone after I get them and installed.
Pricey buggers and nobody else seems to make them.

I got the ones from KARR. They are not that great to deal with but they came fast. The mold they used is def rough and sloppy but my seals were literally gone and NOBODY carries these so im kinda screwed. I tired everybody and Steele even gave me a list of people to try. $200 later I have them and taking my time installing. Will post pics when I get going.

FYI...just got a set from Karr Rubber for my 67...They suck!!! They make them in 2 pieces and glue them together at the corner...and not well I might add. Sending them back. Owner of Karr was not happy about me sending them back. Hope I get my 225.00 bux back.

The passenger side of mine was pretty bad. Driver side was a lot better.
Bottom line is my van was missing these seals and NOBODY seems to make these but KARR.
I have seals now. Sucked it was $200 but with winter coming I feel better that I have something in place now. Yeah they are a hoot to deal with too!
