G-Man, the guy at the shop said that he could "rebuild" mine but that would run me around $500. I really, really don't have that kind of cash.... looking for a replacement that can be a simple mod and install.... Thanks

    lectricman,
I paid almost that amount to have mine re-cored. Originally I took it in to get it rodded out, then they called almost a week later saying they had to order a core. I said why not a 4 core being as we are having to replace it, I was told that a 3 row 'hi-efficency' core would be better. I was skeptical, but in our almost 100 degree days here this thing runs not quite to the middle of the temp guage. Looking back, if I knew how long it was going to take the radiator shop, I could have ordered a 4 core aluminium off of eBay, but now that everything has transpired I couldn't be happier with the results. Just my experience.

    Lecticman,
I just changed out the rad in the truck. It was an original Modine for a Mustang, brass/copper. It was just starting to leak a little from sitting for a long time (7 years?) I bought a new 3-Row aluminum one from Champion, off EBay, for about $220.oo shipped. I didn`t want to spend any $ on the Modine as I`m getting ready to ad A/C and we felt that it wouldn`t cool enough here in South Fla. , but it`s an easy fix.
The Modine would be perfect for your truck w/ the 6 cylinder, as it was made to handle a Mustang V-8. The only thing is that inlet and outlet are on the passenger side. If this will work for you, I would be willing to donate this for your project, you just pay for the shipping to your address in Va. Please let me know. Art

Thanks Art but I have done committed to a new one... I will get this one from the local KOI Auto Parts here in Huntington for around $140... It is a spectra brand and number CU1463
    http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=271575
this is an identical radiator with 2 exceptions... this one is a 3 row instead of a 2 and it is front flange mount instead of rear.. I will make me some 3" spacers to mount it and the 3 row core is just a plus... thanks for all the ideas and advice and thanks for the offer Art....
lets get this thing on the road..... wooo-hoooooo
