Radiator repair
Dont know about a new one. There have been several posts on VV regarding new rads. Repair is possible depending on how bad it is. Let your fingers do the waling thru the yellow pages or google rad shops in your area. Mine looked pretty bad but a rad shop fixed it up pretty good.

Re: raditor repair??????
CALL THESE GUYS WITH MEASUREMENTS. AND ASK ABOUT A RAD FOR A TUG AND 3 CORE. THE MEASUREMENTS ARE VERY CLOSE. BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO CUT 1 SIDE OF A C CHANNEL FOR IT TO GO IT IT'S GOING TO COST ABOUT $300.00 http://fsrproducts.com/fsrradiator/tugs.html

Re: raditor repair??????
The shops in my area get the standard core, and put the tanks and sides from your old one back on. Mine was about 200 bucks, but it's a stock engine. Maybe if I get into a stroker later I will have to look at an aluminum radiator.

Re: raditor repair??????
Got mine from FSR - ask for Gary
it was $425 - but hoses etc. were right where they needed to be.
Trimmed a little off the top of the side flanges, drilled 4 holes.
Beautiful!
Very happy with mine!

My Radiator from my A108 got "mishandled" during the exhile of the Slant 6. I just ordered a 3 row aluminum radiator for a 1948-1954 Chevy Pick-up on ebay and it fits PERFECTLY! Cost was $189 including shipping. Only mod is I needed to recut the front of the shroud for cap access. Also I needed to drill the holes in the solid flange. Some shop that re-cores wanted to charge me 600-700 bucks...

Re: raditor repair??????
some years back i had a radiator that had been eaten up by a fan- took it to a repair shop - was a small shop in a small town - guy said he would have to seal up 1 complete row of the core & charged me 40 buckx - worked great & cooled good too -shops now are wat too expensive -wanting to make that quick buck too. Core everything . 200 bbucks & up - ill just look for the small shops still - yes i agree the new alunimum radiators are good & if we can just get a good deal on them thats the way to go now

aerocube,
Which vendor on ebay did you buy the radiator from? Do you have a model number or a link?
Thanks,
Craig
