Re: Interesting pics of Earlys
The pic on page 1 he has Cragar SS mags on it and in this pic those are American Thorque Thrusts on the front and steels in the back. Not too sure what type of tire but the backs look pretty healthly.

Re: Interesting pics of Earlys
It's Reggie Chapman down here in Clearwater Florida, Seadog is from around Jacksonville. I've given Reggie a great deal on an old 108 sportvan and also the 1968 no-door that I got from Tom Schaner in Indy called Moby because it was white with a tail. With no garage and no place to keep her it slowly rotted at my sister's place for years.
Reggie cleaned her up and of course painted her Yellow. It's a little thin and he would like to give it another coat. but it's his daily driver now.
I'll post an old video of him racing soon.

Re: Interesting pics of Earlys
Oh the Backup Pickup. Such a cool truck. It is actually a Ford Econoline. That version was driven by a guy named Hollie Swindle. This truck was sold to Dick Harding (I kid you not this was his name) and driven by George "Hollywood" Tuers. The truck was sponsored by Galpin Ford. At that point the truck had been repainted white, red and blue.
There was a Dodge A-100 wheelstander that had the driveline mounted backwards like the Backup Pickup and it was called the Gemini Cricket. It was later converted back to a regular wheelstander and then later sold to John Force's brother Diesel Louie.

Re: Interesting pics of Earlys
Hey back2thewoods, I run Cragar S/S mags on the front of my A-100. They are 4 inchers with Pro Trac street fronts and they would hold up to everyday driving. The slotted kidney bean wheels should hold up as well. I have a buddy who runs Radir wheels on this van and he hasn't had any problems. Any street approved wheel should work for you. I would try to run the widest skinny tire you can find just for a bit more foot print it'll give you a little bit better handling for everyday driving. What type of wheels and tires do you plan on putting on your van?
