Tim covered ya' on the reverse lights.
The rims are 15x6 American Torque Thrust D's. Got them from JEGS.
I've got a roof rack stashed away, just need to find a board!

Yes, The complete system is being shipped as we speak, I started prepping for it about a week ago along with my "to do" list. I went with the cable system to incorporate the original push/pull knobs on the dash that were used for the stock heater box. I will do my step by step build, with pics, next week. Like you, I`ve been hammering away on this truck but mostly solo, with my son and inbetween working 3 jobs!

Unbelievable!!! You don't mess around!!!

Finished the pre-Petit Jean "to-do" list today! The side door didn't have the spring-thingies (the parts on the top and bottom of each door that keeps them from rattling), didn't even have the holes to install them. Now it does, and it is now much quieter. Also installed the power door locks on the front doors.

First time I've seen the paper behind the door panel.

This is how Rodney installed the front power locks. Astro contcts were used.

We left early this morning for Arkansas. No agenda and didn't know where were staying tonight, just got to be at Petit Jean Mountain on Thursday night:

Stopped in San Augustine, visited some of the places on the town square. The courthouse is in the background:

Then on to Jonesville to check out Texas' oldest continuously running General Store (est. 1847):

We weren't quite sure where to go next, so we hung a right:

Ate lunch at the Uncertain General Store and Grill just before embarking on a paddleboat swamp tour with Captain Jack. Not knowing which state we wanted to sleep in, we stopped in Texarkana for the night!

Thanks! I just put the pic in "Here's your sign". Now that we have a shiney van, looks like we're going to have to spiff up the trailer a bit!

Once we hit the mountain I probably won't have an internet connection to send pic with.

(knocking on the wooden desk while typing) The motor is doing nicely. I never thought that 70 cubic inches would make such a difference! Only filled up once so far, but she got 12.7 mpg that tank. And it's nice going up a hill without downshifting! The hills in AR will be a little steeper, but I doubt that I'll be shifting all the way down to first like last year.

Started the day in Texarkana TX/AR at the Post Office:

While in the downtown area we went by the Perot Theater then toured the "Ace of Clubs" house:

Ate lunch at the Dixie Diner (forgot to take pic!) then headed to Hot Springs. We found a cabin to let overlooking Lake Hamilton:

There was even a "beach" for Martha!:

Grabbed a bite to eat (and a few beers) at Hawg's Pizza and Bar, then took a stroll in downtown Hot Springs:

Tomorrow we head to Petit Jean Mountain, after we do the tourist bit in Hot Springs.

Better have good brakes when he comes down the mountain. Thats one serious downhill grade.

Just got back home (and an internet connection). Here's what we did Thursday:

Woke up to rain in the am. Drive into downtown Hot Springs. Toured the Fordyce Bathhouse at Hot Springs National Park:

Then to the Mountain Tower on top of mountain:

If ants had Econolines! Here's a view from the top of the tower:

The road to and from the tower was fun (I don't know what Scooby's looking at!):

Grabbed a bite to eat at the Fros-T-Treat before heading to Petit Jean:

Got all set up for the weekend:

On Friday we went decided to take a trip to a neighboring Mountain, Mt. Nebo. Stopped in Dardanelle for lunch at the U.S. Cafe (we try to stay away from chains when dining on a road trip!):

The views were spectacular! This is an overlook just before what they call "Two miles of Wild", the trip from here to the top of Mt. Nebo:

Saturday; we got all of the Texas folk attending Mid-South Econoline Meet together for a group photo:

After the "pot-luck" lunch, we headed to the drag strip in Centerville to watch Jerry Psalmonds make passes in his BBC powered pick-up:
