Thanks again for the comments on the Dart. I did pick up the doors from the media blaster today. It was good to see them cleaned with the epoxy primer on them but it also surfaced some challenges (rust) that will have to be dealt with in some cases but I am thinking that I will need to replace at least one of the cargo doors, but it may be up to three. I've no idea where to begin looking but I've got to keep my eyes open for them. I've included some pictures of the doors needing attention.

    Front Passenger Door:

    Passenger Side Cargo Front Door:

    Passenger Side Cargo Rear Door:

Rear Cargo Driver Side Door (Really should be replaced I think):

Any thoughts on sourcing doors would be welcomed. Scott...

Scott finding door in Michigan that are good could be a long wait and having something shipped is just too $$$. My door on my 64 chevy looked much like yours. I found a old school bodyman to rebuild mine. Cut out the bad and put new metal in. Just another option

    G-Man,

I've already considered the fact that the door(s) would have to be repaired and out of the gate is what I am planning for. I will though begin looking to see what's out there because it's always good to have options. One other thing that I learned that I had forgot to mention was that both front doors and the two side cargo doors all have stress cracks next to the lower hinges. The stress cracks though can be quickly fixed. Scott...

So, I'm looking at my calendar and see that Baker's meet is this next Saturday. I'm still planning to stop by and was checking the Baker's web site and was wondering about the parking situation, I didn't notice any details for those stopping by. Is all visitor parking right there in the Baker's parking lot? How has the visitor turnout been? Have there been parking issues in the past? Are these questions really nothin more than a concern about nothing to be concerned about? Embarassed

Oh, and as far as an update on the van, it's taken a backseat for a couple weeks as I am currently redoing my sisters bathroom, this was taking things down to the studs, new subfloor, plumbing, etc... I will though be taking some time off the bath project this Saturday to stop by Baker's. Scott...

    G-Man,

Ok, what was I thinking typing Saturday... I went back to the calendar and for reasons I'm not sure that I understand myself I saw that it was Sunday but still typed Saturday, maybe it's just time to hit the hay.

Thanks for the reply, clarification and info on the parking. As it stands right now I am still planning to stop by for a bit. Scott...
